Mannequin's Top 15 Christmas Gifts 2012

Ashamedly, it's my favourite time of year again. Christmas brings out the best in me as I love those cold nights in where you can stick the fire on and get drunk watching crap telly in your Snuggie and nobody judges you! Of course one of the next best things about Christmas has to be the gifts. I'm not just saying this, but I enjoy shopping and giving people gifts just as much as I do receiving them! I love hand picking something that I know someone will really love, so as a helping hand to those of you that really don't enjoy the Christmas shopping part of the festivities I have put together a gift guide that consists of my Top 15 Gifts for 2012. These are things that I think you simply can't go wrong with whether you're buying for mum, girlfriend, sister, auntie or grandma, take a look...

1.
*** Burt's Bees ***

This Burt's Bees gift set comes with three of their tinted and flavoured lip balms and a cute little keychain purse to keep them in! You get a nourishing mango flavour, replenishing pomegranate flavour and an original beeswax to keep your lips in shape and looking gorgeous all winter! For just £9.99 you can get truly natural beauty. Burt's Bees is available at Boots and Debenhams Nationwide.

2.
*** Collection ***

Since Collection 2000 relaunched to become 'Collection', the brand has shown us it's grown up side. With this Bedazzled palette you get 9 show-stopping shades of eyeshadow that will see you through the party season and beyond. The pigment in these shades is really great, the glitter adds a nice little touch too. For just £4.49 and available at most Boots stores, grab a bargain stocking filler.

3.
*** Oral B ***

Here's a gift that will literally make her smile. Oral B have released their latest must have gadget, the Precision Clean brush in limited edition pink! My mum even had one of these on her Christmas list this year! This set even comes with a handy travel case. This is what the experts had to say: The 3D Cleaning Action brush head oscillates, pulsates and surrounds each tooth, offering a complete clean for teeth and gums. It also removes up to 100% more plaque compared to a regular manual toothbrush. Retailing at just £49.99 you can get your teeth into a bargain this Christmas at Boots, Superdrug, Asda and Tesco.

4.
*** Avon ***

My recent rediscovery of Avon (you can read that post here) has led me to love their latest Christmas gift sets. Glimmersticks are one of my favourite Avon products. They're coloured eyeliners that offer a shimmery way to create unique make up looks. I often use a silver coloured Glimmerstick to underline my bottom lashline which really stands out. This set includes two Avon Glimmersticks and one Glimmerstick Diamonds, (an extra sparkly version of the original) in Majestic Plum, Cosmic Brown and Smokey Diamond. £5.75 available only from Avon.

5.
*** Avon ***

I got very excited when Avon announced that they would collaborating with Christian Lacroix on a fragrance, so I was even more delighted to hear about their Christmas gift set this year containing not one but three miniature fragrances by the two! This is only available from Avon and it priced at £9.99

6.
*** Champneys ***

Here's one for the home. An Exotic Retreat reed diffuser and candle set from the spa elite, Champneys. Both of these smell incredible, it's sort of a light citrus scent that makes any room in your home smell gorgeous. Champneys sets are available at Boots and priced at just £20, it's much cheaper than the Jo Malone alternative!

7.
*** Clynol ***

If a girl you know is always moaning about split ends and dry hair, then this is certainly the gift for them. Clynol's repair kit contains super nourishing products that are designed specifically for damaged and dry hair. The gift set not only contains these salon quality products, it also comes in a beautiful silver washbag that turns into a door hanger to keep all your bits and bobs in. Retailing at just £19.95.

8.
*** Benefit ***

Of course! What would a Christmas gift guide be without some Benefit?! High Flyin' Glosses is my favourite set from the girls this Christmas. It contains six of their best-selling shades in perfect purse sized lip glosses. My personal favourite is Dandelion (pictured above) because of the luscious sheen it has to it. It's great to wear over a pale peach lipstick. This set is currently marked down to just £13!

9.
*** Urban Decay ***

Urban Decay is one of my favourite beauty brands without a doubt. They eye palettes are top of the class, so why wouldn't I include them in this list? Not only can you get a gorgeous palette this Christmas, but all the shades are completely new and unique. The Vice palette includes some seriously cool shades. I particularly love this pink and gold pictured above. It gives you the inspiration to try something totally new and wear colours that you wouldn't normally think of.
You can buy the Vice palette from Urban Decay priced at £42. Check out all their Christmas gifts here.

10.
*** Urban Decay ***

I had to include this palette from Urban Decay because it's a much more compact version of the Vice palette. You still get six super festive shades to wear and you also get a mini lip gloss! I just love how easily it zips up and away just the right size for your handbag. It comes in three different colourways, 'Fun,' Feminine' and 'Dangerous' and is available for £25 from Urban Decay (in most Boots and Debenhams stores.)

11.
*** Label M ***

Label M is the ultimate hair care brand. It gives you that fresh, salon feeling no matter what product you're using, so when I was told about their latest collaboration with Giles Deacon earlier this year, I was excited to see what Christmas gift sets they would bring out. This one doesn't disappoint. With a Colour Stay shampoo and conditioner you really can't go wrong. The pair work great together as a system, promoting healthy and shiny hair that doesn't fade. See the collection here and buy from Toni & Guy salons nationwide.

12.
*** Label M ***

Another one of my favourites from Label M is this mini quad set. They're great products for taking on holiday with you or if you're staying out at a friend's house. You also get a treatment shampoo and an intensive conditioner with this set, two of Label M's most nourishing products. Care for your hair this winter and get some awesome designer packaging along with it.

13.
*** Olay ***

Olay Regenerist is one of the best anti-aging ranges on the market now. As described by my own mother as a 'miracle,' it's definitely something to rave about. She's tried everything and is convinced that this is by far the best system for diminishing wrinkles and signs of aging. This 3 point serum, treatment and cream all work together to do just that. You can get all of this at Boots for just £19.99.

14.
*** L'Occitane ***

L'Occitane's Fleurs Merveilleuses gift set includes some of their most coveted products. The eau de toilette is a gorgeous flowery scent, but it's pretty strong so you only need a little bit. You also get a soap, a shower gel and one of L'Occitane's dreamy hand creams. It's so nicely packaged that it's a gift you barely want to open! This is a great gift for grandmas, because of the sweet, floral scent. You can buy this at L'Occitane stores nationwide for £35.

15.
*** NARS ***

Here's a collection to get excited about. NARS has teamed up with Andy Warhol's designs to create limited edition palettes and gifts to celebrate the controversial artist's work. The gift featured above is called the 'Silver Factory' set. It's £150 which is at the very higher end of the price scale featured here, but if you want to get something really special, a true beauty junkie will really appreciate this. Check out the full Andy Warhol X NARS collaboration here.
