A Lush Life: Care For Your Hair
I've always been a fan of Lush's haircare since I discovered 'I Love Juicy' shampoo and 'American Cream' conditioner, so trying some of their other products was something I was more than happy to do! This week I sampled Sea Spray, Blousey and Shine So Bright, three miracle promising products from the home of all things green. Here's how I got on...
Sea Spray is a great product designed for hair styling. I find it worked best when I towel dried my hair and then spritzed it in and left to dry naturally. It left me with a really soft curl and that 'beach babe' look. It smells gorgeous too, so you're left with that scent all day long.
Blousey is a visually gross looking but utterly amazing shampoo. Different from your usual Herbal Essences formula, it's got a - let's say 'porridgey' - texture to it. But don't be perturbed, it's incredible. The formula is designed for any colour, so it's safe to use on bleached, highlighted or permanent coloured hair. Shampoo as you would usually and you're left with the most amazing banana scent.
Shine So Bright is a little pot of wonder, rescuing split ends from their otherwise unfortunate fate of breakage. Simply scoop up a finger-full and rub through your hair's dry or damaged ends on wet or dry hair. This coats them with a wax that prevents them from being damaged by stress or heat. Trés brilliant! For only £4.50, this one gets my vote.
Stay tuned this week for some Halloween Lush product reviews, they're exciting!
