Boots Botanics

Boots Botanics is a range that I wouldn't have used in the past, not for any reason in particular, just because I have a set skincare regime that I don't like to differ from, and a lot of woman are the same. I've learned recently though that if you don't try something, you'll never know!
When I got the chance to try out some Boots Botanics products, I was pleasantly surprised.

I've been looking for a decent eye cream for a while now, so when I tried the Botanics Moisturising Eye Cream I was going in with an open mind. Although I spoke with a certain beauty editor recently about how eye creams are not a necessity, it's a fine enough formula to use anywhere on your face if you find regular moisturisers too thick. The best thing about the Botanics range is that it's organic, and there are no perfume in their products, so can be used on extra sensitive skin without irritation!

This Soothing Eye Make Up Remover is a magic product. For me, I found it really smooth and it left a baby soft skin feeling afterwards, which is always nice! The bottle states 'Iceland moss hydrates and soothes,' which you can feel working whilst using this product. A simple splash on a cotton pad and your make up is instantly removed with no harsh rubbing or scrubbing needed.

I have to admit, I'm not quite sure what the Botanics Super Balm is supposed to do, but it sure made my skin amazingly soft. It's a thick, solid balm, but as soon as it touches the warmth of your body it melts into a paste that you smooth on, like an intensive moisture face pack. It leaves your skin with a wet look for a few minutes whilst in sinks in, but afterwards it leaves you with a silky complexion.
