Dee V: Diana Vickers For Very
Very.co.uk has collaborated with some fantastic television style stars in the past, such as Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby. They have now moved on to Miss Diana Vickers, who I can admit is exceptionally stylish. I met her at BNTM live last year and she was impeccably dressed, she also admitted to having a huge input on her dress sense. Most teen stars rely heavily on their stylists, but Diana is fortunate enough to be style-savvy and can put an outfit together perfectly. When asked about designing her own fashion range back in October she said it was something she would love to do, so now we are delighted to see her new capsule collection for Very.co.uk.
The collection consists of 8 pieces, both dresses and separates for Spring. It's heavily inspired by the 1960's, an era which is seen to inspire a lot of Diana's dress sense. There are mid-length hemlines on shift dresses with quirky blossom and dog prints, and a nod to the 70's trend in a pair of wide leg flared jeans. The colours are a mix of summery pastels and washed out whites which stands suitably in the season and current trends.
Diana herself models the collection, and looks simply classy with a bouffant 60's hairdo and a natural face of make-up. She's certainly grown up since her days on X Factor, and I will definitely be getting myself a few pieces from this collection as an addition to my summer wardrobe. The collection launches on Very.co.uk on 20th May.
