Playtime With Topshop Make-Up

So if you saw my tweet this morning about Topshop make-up sending me some lovely new samples then you'll know it hasn't taken me long to have a good play about with them. I've created a short step-by-step guide to applying the make-up, of course there are A LOT more products in the entire Topshop Make-Up range, so I haven't used them all. Share your own tips and thoughts in the comments!

Here I am, being brave by posting a photo of my bare face! I've just used a light moisturiser, Steamcream, and then a L'Oreal Studio Secrets Primer.

I then mixed together 3 parts my regular foundation with 1 part Topshop Skin Tint. It's a tinted moisturiser in 3 shades which are all quite dark for me, even the lightest shade. It gives you a lovely touch of colour for summer.
After applying the foundation and Skin Tint I used my own translucent loose powder by Collection 2000. I only bought this the other day as I was fed up of buying tinted powders, but it's actually really good at keeping your skin matte without being too powdery.

I then applied a layer of the Topshop Cheek Duo blush in Desert Sun. It's got a subtle bronzer and a rosy pink so you can blend the two for a summer shimmer. Apply the blush from the apples of your cheeks following your cheekbone, up to your hairline. Be careful not to continue the blush into your hairline otherwise you risk giving a heavier look for the daytime.

I then used the magnificent eye shadows by Topshop, in Glint and Tundra. They're both metallic shades with a creamy texture, but one that doesn't crease in your eyelid. I blended both together for a gun metal grey shade.
I only applied a small finger full with a sweeping motion across the lid, and a few pats to blend.

I added a quick brush of Mary-Lou Manizer shimmer highlighter by The Balm, and the look was almost complete.
The moment I've been waiting for! Topshop Gloss Stick in Ablaze. These moisturising lip colours are perfect for that subtle hint of colour. Simply apply to your lips and add a coat of clear gloss after for super high shine.
My lips are a little dry at the moment so it didn't apply as well as it would usually!
