This week I fell in love. I understand I am a taken lady, but my other half is a human being, so I suppose it's okay for me to outwardly declare my love for United Nude shoes. As soon as their website loaded for the first time, I knew they were for me. Sculpted heels, architectural inspired form and neon shades of glory inspired me just on sight. Now I haven't had chance to get my styling claws on these yet, but I will be doing very soon. I can just guess by looking that they are of super high quality, with a Kurt Geiger-esque price tag, not too out of my price range, but a treat to say the least.
United Nude have stepped up the ranks since they launched in 2003, and their recent press shows them featuring in publications such as Vogue.com and Blonde in Germany. They have an incredible design team and have recently collaborated with Iris Van Herpen for their 'Lo Res' project. The 'Lo Res' project explores and challenges the boundaries between architecture and fashion, pushing footwear to the limit in terms of shape and structure. Expect geometric shapes and pastel shades for SS11.
United Nude are to showcase their angular vibrancy at a specially designed installation at the Shoe Galleries in Selfridges, which opened this Monday. All designs are for sale so it's a great opportunity to check it out and see for yourself. I can't wait to shoot these beauties for myself, I have some brilliant styling ideas!
