LFW: Paper Eyelashes by Paperself

The exhibition at Somerset House this year is rife with fresh and existing talent. One stall which caught my eye (no pun intended) was Paperself, a company which prides itself on creating masterpieces made from something as simple as paper. 'Paperself is a platform for the innovative exploration of paper for contemporary product design.' - from the website.
The company was launched in 2009 and has previously created both furniture and lighting. This time, it's turned to fashion in the way of eyelashes.
There were many different designs but some of my favourites are here, I think I prefer the 'small peacock' design, it really widens your eyes and creates a show-stopping dramatic effect. I saw a girl wearing some and I had to look twice, they're stunning! The lashes are extra long so you can cut them to your length, and even trim bits off to wear on their own on the corners of your eyes.
Not only are they gorgeous, each design has a meaning in Chinese culture:
Horses: symbolic of success
Peony: for happiness and good fortune
Peach blossom: a symbol of love and romance
Peacock: auspicious and lucky days
Butterfly: free, beautiful and sensitive
Clown: bring the whole happiness
