Idiot Agrees To Second Series

Karl Pilkington, the loveable 'idiot' in the 'An Idiot Abroad' series on Sky, has agreed to a second series of the show.
An Idiot Abroad sees the writer/'victim' of Ricky Gervais/and all round oblivious funny man travel around the globe to see the 7 Wonders Of The World. What makes it comedy? Well, Pilkington is known for his closed minded views on the world, and Gervais thinks it will be hilarious to send him off to places which are so different from his natural habitat of Manchester, that it will make a brilliant TV series, and he's right. An Idiot Abroad was Sky's most watched show for over two years, and DVD sales soared through the roof.
The second series, called 'An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List; will see Pilkington partaking in activities which people often choose to do before they die, such as skydiving and swimming with dolphins. "I’ve never understood the “things to do before you die” idea. If I was ill, I'd be in no mood to have a swim with a dolphin." He said.
The endearing thing about Karl is, that although he says these sometimes cringeworthy things, the innocent, child-like look on his face makes it all seem okay. The team haven't started filming yet, so no release date has been set, but take a look at the best bits from series one, the Brazil episode:
