Fred Perry & Raf Simons

Fred Perry has collaborated with Raf Simons for their seventh collection together. This SS11 collection sees the designers carrying the BRIGHTS trend forward in their typical minimalist fashion.
This season the two iconic brands have created a series of hybrid polos with a statement zip fastening, instead of the usual two button fastening. The silver zip trails the iconic Fred Perry laurel wreath, sourced from Riri.
The polo shirts are the staple piece in the collection, which consists of 38 garments. The collars are pristinely cut, with darts in the sides of the body to create a more sleek, streamlined silhouette for the fashion sportswear brand.

These details can not only be seen on the polo shirts, but on the shorts too.

There are also some classic shirts in this collection, in more muted colours such as navy and black, as well as the typical teddy-boy cardigan, a must for any Fred Perry fanatic. The logo is the original laurel wreath, but with Raf Simons' name underneath, just for some distinguishable self promotion.
I have to say though, not overly keen on this 'no socks' business that's caught on for the fellas, but overall, another flawless collaboration.
